Back in December, we told you about a Massive Inc. upfront where Activisio Blizzard mentioned a sequel to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare tentatively named Modern Warfare. Well, today we have another semi-official announcement in the form of a Twitter update.
Robert Bowling, the Director of Communications and Community Manager for Infinity Ward, has revealed that the studio is indeed at work on a sequel to its award winning Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The latest Twitter update at the moment of this writing confirms the game is indeed Modern Warfare 2.

Fallout 3 The Pitt and Broken Steel DLC Delayed
A Bethesda representative has confirmed to GameSpy that, "the next DLC for Fallout 3, The Pitt, will be out in March. Broken Steel will be out the following month, in April." That's a one month delay for each expansion.
The Pitt will take gamers to the industrial raider town of the same name, located in the remains of Pittsburgh, while Broken Steel will let players loin the ranks of the Brotherhood of Steel and rid the Capital Wasteland of the Enclave remnants once and for all.

Call of Duty: World at War - First Map Pack Announced
Treyarch has just announced the first Map Pack for Call of Duty: World at War, which includes three new Multiplayer levels, as well as an additional level for the 4-player co-op Nazi Zombies bonus mode. This yet-unnamed DLC will be released in March for an undisclosed price. Below is the info on the three competitive multiplayer levels and the Nazi Zombie map:
Nightfire
In "Nightfire," players take to the streets of a war-ravaged Berlin with only the flames of the burning city to expose the enemy.
Station
"Station" offers a bombed out underground train station littered with hidden passageways and destroyed subway cars.
Knee Deep
"Knee Deep" takes place on the island of Peleliu in a once tranquil village turned chaotic Japanese command center.
Verrückt (Zombie Asylum)
The fan favorite 4-player co-op Nazi Zombies Bonus Mode returns with "Verrückt," a terrifying Zombie asylum featuring more weapons, perks via the addition of Perks-a-Cola machines, electroshock defenses and the endless zombie horde.

COD4's Variety Map Pack Gets Price Cut
Infinity Ward announced via its Twitter feed today that the Variety Map Pack for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has had its price cut. When it was introduced last April, the price was 800 Microsoft Points (or about $10), but if you go to the Xbox Live Marketplace, you can now get it for 400 MS Points. The pack is also available from the Web version of Marketplace, on the CoD4 page; it'll download to your console automatically the next time you connect to Xbox Live.
