Here is my take: why are we getting so much grassroots marketing this early in the development cycle. Usually a game with a November release won't get the ball rolling unti E3. We're getting inundated with underground Halo 3 content NOW. Something that never happened with Halo 2. This game is looking like the worst kept secret since Valerie Plame.

8 seconds of pure bliss! Halo 3 looks superb. You can tell the frame rate is really smooth even though it was shot on medium video quality.
